The department of Radio diagnosis and Imaging is a sub-speciality of medicine that deals primarily with diagnosis of diseases. The department of Radiodiagnosis offers high quality diagnostic services to all the affiliated hospitals of Government Medical College, Srinagar including SMHS hospital, Shireen Bagh Super Specialty Hospitals , LD Hospital, Children Hospital , Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla and IMHANS. Besides catering to the public health care needs, the department is actively involved in education of both undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. The department of Radiodiagnosis is equipped with high quality latest machinery.

In Diagnostic Imaging, we offer state of the art imaging services including radiography, USG, CT, MRI. Additionally the department provides mammography and digital DEXA services. In Interventional Radiology, we perform the full complement of vascular and nonvascular minimally invasive image-guided procedures. Our highly skilled, caring staff and certified radiologists are dedicated to providing the highest quality patient care.
