Achievements

Major Departmental Achievements, initiatives and recognitions:

1. The department is equipped with state of the art Biplane DSA facility.
2. The department started Neuro-intervention services in addition to a range of Vascular and non-vascular interventions that are already being performed in the department.
3. ⁠Recently we started Fusion imaging for complex interventional procedures.
4. Started functional MRI in the department which is important for the surgical planning of various brain tumours and study of Neuro-psychiatric disorders.
5. Started B.Sc radiography courses in the department.
6. ⁠Succeeded in increasing the MD seats from 12 to 15.
7. Performing all complex diagnostic cardiac imaging including perfusion MRI and CT coronary Angiography.
8. Successfully conducted one day CME on World Radiology Day.
9. ⁠Providing screening mammography and digital 3D breast tomosynthesis.
10. Department is providing screening for osteoporosis using high end DEXA machine..
11. ⁠Department is actively involved in academics and research. We have published 50 articles in reputed national and international journals in last 2-years.
